Ok, so the bird was actually on the tv, and Zoot wasn't exactly chasing it, he was staring at it and was just completely puzzled. It was hilarious to watch his little ears perk up and his head zig zag around as this cartoon birdy flitted from one side of the tv screen to the other. He was truly confused and really wanted to pounce on something! And yes, I admit I do watch childrens cartoons sometimes, hehehehe!
Mmmm noodles....ok, so over a year ago when i spent some time in London i fell in love with a wonderful restaurant. Wagamama's!! In the heart of London I had found something both delicious AND reasonably priced! And if you are a traveller too, you might know that this is like gold dust when you are a budget backpacker type person. So i think in the span of five days we ate there at least 4 times! Yummers! I returned up north pleased that I had such a lovely time in London and amazed that such a great restaurant chain had found it's way there. Never in my wildest noodly dreams did i expect they would choose Newcastle as a site for their restaurant to expand too. Who thinks of Newcastle when asked to imagine somewhere in the world that needs a fabulous Noodle restaurant? But, low and behold, this winter it came to Newcastle!!!!!! I almost fell over! Now it's......Noodles for me!! Noodles for anyone & everyone that visits me here in the UK!!! Noodles for meals out with friends!! Noodles for my special birthday(or any birthday for that matter)!! Noodles to comfort me in my sad times!! Noodles to line my tummy for a night out drinking!! NOODLES * NOODLES * NOODLES!Yes, i do like Wagamama's. Gee, can you tell i'm excited that we now have one in Newcastle?? Wanna go for some noodles????
I just love my furry babies! And this is me sharing their silliness with everyone else.......Zoot (the boy cat) has this bizarre love of climbing into anything bag or box-like. He likes to be contained. Ha! Be it a cardboard box, a suitcase, a grocery bag(dangerous! I can't leave any grocery bags lying around the house), a gift bag, or a gym bag.....he wants to climb in it and sit! So of course, when he does it, I think he's the cutest thing ever and of course i HAVE to take photos to inflict on others such as yourselves :) So, here he is, lovely Zoot, hanging out in a big gym bag, he just loved it, and sat in it for an hour or so until he got bored! What an awesome cat! Ha!
Oooh, symbolic, eh? Well i hope you've managed to take your x-mas stuff down by now, but if not, don't feel bad because it was only yesterday that i took down my 2 items of Christmas cheer laid upon my mantlepiece! (i wasn't really around my own house for x-mas this year so it seemed a bit pointless to go hog wild....that, and i'm lazy, what can i say??!) The wreath and snowglobe were put away for another year! It does feel kinda sad without the Christmas festivities surrounding and gently bear-hugging us......no special festive tv shows, no christmas tunes on the radio (the same ones over & over & over!!!), no obnoxious store layouts with all the xmas stuff begging you to buy it, no Christmas dinners to look forward to (i had two at work this year!! let alone on christmas)............. none of that again at least until next September! Hahahha!
Voila! It's me looking straight haired, pearled up and fancy with my good friend Eve! She is awesome and helped us out so much on the crazy night of my party! Couldn't have done it without her help(among others who helped soooooo much too!!) Especially since our car decided to break down on the day, and I was prone to fits of crying due to stress! Ha! What a fun time!It was all worth it in the end and I really enjoyed the evening wth my family(who came from far far away to be there, thank you!! xoxo) and friends! I hope the guests did too! Happy Birthday to me!
