Fish Treatment - nibble nibble

The Hot Spring Fish Treatment, yes folks... if you like to have your dead skin nibbled away by tiny fishies then this is the spa treatment for you! And it's a perfect example of the circle of life..... sorta, more like an example of the semi-circle of life, or i dunno....

The fish nibbles your dead skin, yum yum, the cat then eats the fish (yes, we were witness to this! clever kitty!) and then the cat, being so cute & cuddly & full of fishy-goodness, goes home to live with a lovely Chinese family who let it sit on their lap all day long and let it play with string....or something equally as sweet.

I just thought it was a cool photo opportunity and tempted as i was to have the Fish Treatment, i passed on that particular experience.....awww schucks! Missed out!

Happy Mom's Day!!!

So Mother's Day went well, and way too quickly actually... *poof* and the weekend was over!

I arrived just in time to celebrate Mother's day with homemade waffles (three cheers for boys who know how to use wafflemakers!!!) complete with melting real butter(none of this fake-o stuff!) & oozing with maple syrup, and of course the obligatory brunch Italian bubbly!

It was a lovely time and was great to be able to spend it with the lady who makes Mother's Day a holiday for me to celebrate :)

Lazy/Busy.......it's all good!

Ok, so laziness & being busy don't make great excuses, but what else can i say..... I've not had much to say and I feel like i've blabbed about China enough, and really.....there isn't much more to be said about the hotel since that's where i spent most of my time, ha!

I did feel all nostalgic one day this week and re-visited photos from last summer......tweaked them a little which was fun, but my gosh it just goes to show how MUCH i need to learn about photo shop and imagery, etc... I have ideas and just don't know where to start or how to get them on the pages, ya know? i hate that feeling!

So here they are, just some eye candy to fill the gap while i'm too lazy to take new photos :)

Playing with Photoshop

With my very, very basic skills in Photoshop, i'm talking super-dooper basic, i've had some fun with a couple of pictures from my trip...... so thought i'd share them, and maybe you might think they look neat? or not! hahah I like them, and i love the rather comic book look they have.....anyway, back to the basics :)
